The first Maserati MC20 in Malaysia delivered to customers, the price is only a few billion cheaper than the Vietnamese market

Maserati MC20 has shown that this is a “delicious-nutritious-cheap” supercar when the selling price in Vietnam is only about 3-4 billion VND more expensive than the Malaysian market.

The first customer in Malaysia has just been delivered Maserati MC20 – more than two years after the global launch of the supercar from the trident brand. In Malaysia, Maserati MC20 is priced at RM 1,078,000 (~ VND 5.6 billion), excluding this country’s taxes and fees. It is expected that the after-tax selling price of this supercar model is about 12-13 billion VND.


In addition to being part of a new era for the Italian brand, the MC20 marks Maserati’s return to self-producing the all-new 3.0L Nettuno engine, producing 621 horsepower and torque. twist 730 Nm.


To achieve this, Maserati used technology to heat the fuel before being injected into the combustion chamber. This technology is used on Formula 1 racing cars, providing better fuel combustion as well as higher engine performance.


Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, combined with a mechanical limited-slip differential as standard. Thanks to that, this supercar only takes 2.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a stationary position, 0-200 km/h in 8.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 325 km/h.


Braking performance is announced by Maserati with the ability to stop 100-0 km/h in just 33 meters. The first MC20 in Malaysia is equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels, using 245/35 front and 305/30 rear tires.


The Masearti MC20 has a prominent front end with a distinctively styled grille with the “trident” logo placed in the middle, nestled inside two air vents and a splitter below. The headlight cluster is beautifully designed with sharp headlights and LED position lights.

The rear of the car is completed with dual exhaust pipes, air vents integrated into the large diffuser made of carbon fiber. The LED taillight cluster is quite large in size. The engine cover is designed inspired by the brand’s logo.

Six colors are standard options on the Maserati MC20, including Bianco Audace (white), Giallo Genio (yellow), Rosso Vincente (red), Blu Infinito (blue), Nero Enigma (black) and Grigio Mistero (gray).

Up to now, the Vietnamese giant has brought back two Maserati MC20s as private imports, with a rumored selling price of about 20 billion VND. Meanwhile, genuine dealers distribute this supercar model at a cheaper price from only 16.5 billion VND. This price is slightly higher than the Malaysian market because the engine capacity is only 3.0 liters.
