Toyota Granvia was quietly launched and then quietly left Vietnam

Just launched more than 2 years ago, the Toyota Granvia MPV model has recently no longer appeared on the company’s product catalog in Vietnam.

Although there has been no official announcement from the company, currently the MPV Granvia model no longer appears on Toyota’s website in Vietnam. So it can be implied that this MPV model will no longer be distributed, which is understandable when sales of this model are only 5 units from the beginning of the year until now.

According to many opinions, Toyota Granvia is said to be located between the Toyota Hiace and Toyota Alphard models with a valuation of 3,072 billion VND imported from the Japanese market. The overall appearance of the Granvia is similar to the Toyota Alphard but has more angular front and rear LED lights, a large grille and more chrome bars.

Positioned in the high-end segment, the interior has many wood-grain details including the steering wheel. Toyota Granvia also has a 7-inch central screen, 12 audio speakers, automatic control system and control panel. specifically for the rear seats.

The car has a 9-seat configuration with 2 rear rows of business-style seats with armrests, head pillows, and foot supports. This row of seats can slide up and down but is manually adjustable. The last row of seats is specially separated but is not business class.

Regarding operation, Toyota Granvia uses a 2.8L diesel engine with a capacity of 174 horsepower, 450 Nm combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive system. With a valuation of more than 3 billion VND, this MPV model is considered quite ambiguous because it is more expensive than the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, twice as high as the Kia Carnival or this group of customers can spend about 1 billion VND more to own a Toyota Alphard. high-class.

Currently, in the large MPV segment, there are only names such as Kia Carnival, Peugeot Traveler, Mercedes-Benz V-Class with many different prices. The MPV model from Kia currently has the highest sales with more than 6,500 cars sold since the beginning of the year until now.
