The Camaro may no longer be as popular among car enthusiasts as it once was, so Chevrolet is trying its best to attract customer interest in Japan with a new special edition limited to 20 units. Chevrolet Camaro Rapid Blue Edition based on the LT RS variant and as its name suggests, has a striking exterior thanks to its unique light blue color.


The special edition of the muscle car combines the exterior color “Rapid Blue”, accented by a double black stripe extending on the hood and luggage compartment lid. Similar to the LT RS version, the American car company also equips the Camaro Rapid Blue Edition with 20-inch five-double-spoke alloy wheels.


The interior has black and white leather seats and dashboard. Besides the unique name and eye-catching appearance, the Chevrolet Camaro Rapid Blue Edition has nothing special compared to the standard Camaro LT RS. Under the hood is still a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces a maximum capacity of 271 horsepower and maximum torque of 400 Nm, the power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.


The price for the special edition Chevrolet Camaro is 6,600,000 yen, equivalent to 1.08 billion VND at present – 300,000 yen (about 50 million VND) more expensive than the LT RS version on which it is based. development. However, Camaro Rapid Blue Edition Much cheaper than the Camaro SS equipped with a V8 engine, priced from 8,100,000 yen (~ 1.33 billion VND) in the Japanese market.
