Gasoline prices dropped again, only from 20,000 VND per liter

From 3:00 p.m. on October 3, 2022, the price per liter of gasoline will decrease by 1,050 – 1,140 VND, and some other oil products will also have their selling prices adjusted.

According to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance, in this adjustment period, each liter of E5 Ron 92 and Ron 95 gasoline has the same selling price as in mid-2021, 20,730 VND and 21,440 VND per liter, respectively, for oil products. Diesel and kerosene are also adjusted to reduce selling prices, specifically:

  • E5 Ron 92 gasoline reduced by 1,050 VND/liter, selling price no more than 20,730 VND/liter
  • Ron 95 gasoline is reduced by 1,140 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 21,440 VND/liter
  • Diesel reduced by 330 VND/liter, selling price no higher than 22,200 VND/liter
  • Kerosene reduced by 760 VND/liter, selling price no higher than 21,680 VND/liter
  • Fuel oil decreased by 560 VND/liter, selling price was 14,090 VND/kg


In today’s operating period, the management agency does not spend money on the Price Stabilization Fund, and at the same time increases the level of contributions to this fund for gasoline and oil products. Specifically, the fund deduction rate for E5 Ron 92 gasoline remains 451 VND, Ron 95 is 600 VND, 300 VND for diesel and kerosene and mazut is 741 VND per kg.

Currently, domestic gasoline prices have decreased for the 4th time in a row. From the beginning of the year until now, there have been 26 adjustments, including 13 increases, 12 decreases, and one stay the same. During this adjustment, E5 Ron 92 and Ron 95 gasoline prices are at the lowest level, equivalent to the beginning of October 2021.
