The mid-range nakedbike segment is currently in a boom period, as major car manufacturers continuously launch new products. To increase competitiveness, Kawasaki has also launched a completely new Z900 model. The 2022 Kawasaki Z900 possesses many interesting upgrades in terms of design as well as accompanying equipment to bring a better driving experience to the driver. The car engine is developed based on the platform of the famous Z1000.

The new Kawasaki Z900’s exterior design interface still maintains the signature Sugomi style but is refined with more aggressive and fierce lines. In particular, the LED headlight system at the front is sharp and angular, aiming for a sportier, sharper beauty.

In terms of size, Kawasaki Z900 2022 length x width x height are 2,070 x 825 x 1,080 mm respectively. The vehicle’s wheelbase is 1,455 mm, seat height is 820 mm, ground clearance is 145 mm and dry weight is 212 kg.

In the 2022 version, the new Kawasaki Z900 has a double Trellis frame cast from stronger steel material. The chassis has also been refined and revised, with added rigidity on key areas. The new chassis system helps reinforce rigidity and compactness when driving.

The 2022 Kawasaki Z900 uses a 41 mm inverted front shock absorber with a diameter of 120 mm and a stroke of 120 mm. The pair of dual front brake discs have a diameter of 300 mm, using 4-piston brake calipers for better braking force.

The rear shock absorber is a horizontal Back-Link type with the ability to adjust spring hardness/softness (preload). The rear disc brake is a single disc, 250 mm diameter. The front/rear 2-channel ABS anti-lock braking system will be standard equipment.

“Heart” Kawasaki Z900 2022 is a DOHC engine block with 16 valves, 4 in-line cylinders, capacity of 948cc. Producing maximum power of 123.6 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque at 98.6 Nm from 7,700 rpm.

The 2022 version of the Z900 is still equipped with the Assist & Slipper Clutch anti-slip system, which helps keep the rear wheel on the road when slowing down suddenly to avoid wheel jumping or slipping. In addition, the vehicle is also upgraded with dual throttle valves and the Kawasaki Traction Control traction control system.

The 2022 Kawasaki Z900 uses a newly upgraded display screen to LCD, giving it a more modern, easier-to-see and fresher feel. The new screen supports displaying information such as speed, engine rpm, trip information and current distance traveled. The most expensive upgrade is the ability to choose operating modes including Full Power and Half-Power. Along with that are 3 driving mode options including: Sport, Road and Rain, helping the driver achieve the safest and most suitable operating experience.

On this new 2022 version, Kawasaki Z900 It is also integrated with Bluetooth connectivity to support exclusive driving assistance applications from Kawasaki. This application allows the driver to freely answer incoming calls and view travel logs. Supports route tracking, distance traveled, travel time and many custom settings as desired.
