A series of famous super sports cars have just arrived in the Vietnamese market

Ferrari 296 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, McLaren 720S Spider and Aston Martin DBX707 are billion-dollar supercar models that have just landed in Vietnam, causing a stir in public opinion.

Ferrari 296 GTB

The car’s impressive appearance with minimalist modern lines helps the Ferrari 296 GTB stand firmly without losing its inherent sporty character, and has also helped receive prestigious design awards Car Design Award and Red Dot Award.

The Ferrari 296 GTB is considered a sub-SF90 with a powertrain combining a gasoline and electric engine that produces 818 horsepower. This sports car Berlinetta is also launched for the first time in the Vietnamese market.

The 296 GTB was the first Ferrari to be fitted with a 6-cylinder engine. Ferrari’s new sports car takes its name from its engine capacity (2.9 liters) and number of cylinders (six), plus the GTB suffix representing the Gran Turismo Berlinetta. This is a new Ferrari with 2 fewer cylinders than the F8 Tributo but in return is a plug-in hybrid system like the SF90 Stradale.

The gasoline engine alone delivers 654 horsepower and with the support of the electric motor (164 horsepower), the Ferrari 296 GTB has a total capacity of 818 horsepower, 740 Nm of torque, with the ability to increase accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 7.45 kWh battery pack mounted under the vehicle floor, providing all-electric driving capability for a distance of about 25 km.

Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica

Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica shares a 5.2L engine block with the Huracán STO. Thanks to that, the car has increased power compared to the rear-wheel drive Huracan EVO, achieving acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

Although the Tecnica is based on the entry-level rear-wheel drive Evo, the car is still provided with a series of equipment that usually only appears on expensive Huracans.

Specifically, instead of using the 602 horsepower and 560 Nm naturally aspirated V10 engine of the base version, Tecnica is equipped with a strong 631 horsepower and 565 Nm V10 engine similar to the STO version. . Lamborghini says the exhaust system has been tweaked and designed to produce a more exciting, sharper sound at high rpm.

The overall weight of the vehicle is also reduced thanks to the carbon hood. Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica has a dry weight of about 1,379 kg, 10 kg lighter than the Evo RWD’s 1,389 kg, but still heavier than the Huracan STO’s 1,339 kg.

McLaren 720S Spider

Compared to the standard 720S version, the Spider variant with convertible top weighs 49 kg more due to the addition of a roof opening/closing system with a time of 11 seconds at speeds below 50 km/h. The car is equipped with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, 710 horsepower, 770 Nm of torque, 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive system. McLaren 720S Spider accelerates from 0 – 100k m/h in 2.9 seconds.

The reason the convertible version of the McLaren 720S can do this is because the vehicle weight only increases to 49 kg despite having to carry the heavy load of the roof opening/closing system. Besides, compared to rival Ferrari 488 Spider, the 720S Spider is still 88 kg lighter.

Similar to other McLaren supercar models, the 720S Spider 2019 has a carbon fiber structure that is super light but extremely durable and solid. The car is so solid that engineers do not need additional support solutions even when the roof is open.

The entire roof of the 720S Spider can be completely opened/closed in just 11 seconds, a number that is faster than other sports cars such as the Audi R8 Spyder or Ferrari 488 Spider. According to McLaren, when opening and closing the roof, the sound emitted from the electric motors is almost non-existent, different from the noisy noise of previous convertible cars.

Aston Martin DBX707

Aston Martin DBX707 is the newest face, developed based on the regular DBX model but the power from the AMG twin-turbo V8 engine has been increased to 697 horsepower and maximum torque of 900 Nm. That’s enough for Aston Martin to confidently win the title of the most powerful SUV powered by a gasoline engine.

This is currently a rare SUV model that is classified as a supercar in Vietnam. Technically, DBX707 is equipped with a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine, 697 horsepower, 900 Nm of torque. This engine combined with a 9-speed gearbox and full-time four-wheel drive system allows this car to accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 310 km/h. .

In addition, the DBX707 also receives a series of chassis tweaks compared to the standard DBX, including adaptive three-chamber air suspension, standard 420 mm carbon-ceramic disc brakes at the front and 390 mm at the rear with six-piston brake calipers.

In addition, the Aston Martin DBX707 also receives a series of chassis refinements compared to the standard DBX, including an adaptive three-chamber air suspension system, standard carbon-ceramic disc brakes measuring 420 mm in front and 390 mm at the rear with six-piston brake calipers.
