Add Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII to Vietnam to serve presidents: after-tax price over 60 billion

The 2022 Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII has just arrived in Vietnam with an expected after-tax value of no less than 60 billion VND.

After the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, many luxury car models are continuously being imported to Vietnam with an estimated value of up to hundreds of billions of VND. Most recently, a famous car importer in Hanoi posted a picture of the car Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII just arrived. Currently the car is in Ho Chi Minh City and waiting for paperwork to be completed to move to the capital.


Thus, the number of Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII in Vietnam has surpassed the milestone of 10 units. Since the first one was officially imported to the country in early 2020, most Phantom VIIIs that Vietnamese tycoons bought have had a black painted exterior or a combination of black and silver on the hood. The one that just arrived is no exception.


The car is equipped with a set of 22-inch chrome-plated multi-spoke wheels, with Continental 255/45 tires. This wheel design is popular with most people Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII of Vietnamese tycoons – except for the one of businessman Binh Thuan.


The lighting cluster has LED strips running around, surrounding the Laser headlight cluster with the ability to illuminate up to 600 meters, sharing technology with BMW.


Inside the interior compartment is the main brown tone, combined with dark wood paneling details. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, integrated with chrome-plated buttons, increases the luxury of the cabin. The 12.3-inch central entertainment screen can be opened and closed with the push of a button. It is currently unclear whether the vehicle has a 4 or 5 seat configuration.

Powering the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is a 6.75L V12 engine, giving maximum power of 563 horsepower and maximum torque of 900 Nm, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to that, the super luxury sedan can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 250km/h even though the vehicle weight is up to 2.6 tons.

Currently, the Vietnamese market has welcomed about 11 units Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII to serve the rich, especially among them there are two Tranquility versions limited to 25 units worldwide. Up to now, only Binh Thuan businessman has spent over 70 billion to get license plate number 86 for a personalized black Phantom VIII.
