Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 officially launched, with few changes but quality

After many times of confusion due to secretly taken images, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 was officially launched with many new upgrades from exterior to interior.

The new generation of Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 does not have too many changes overall, but the exterior at the front of the car has been refined with a larger grille and thinner and sharper headlights. Going with the same lines makes the GLC 2023 younger and more dynamic.


Compared to the previous generation, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 is 60.96 mm longer, 4mm lower, while the wheelbase is 15mm longer, reaching 2,888 mm. Vehicle width remains the same at 1,890mm. In addition, depending on the version, there will be different wheel options from 18 to 20 inches.

Although there are not many major changes overall, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 has optimized the wind resistance coefficient by reducing it from 0.31 to 0.29 Cd, and the company also optimized some details. such as underbody panels, wheels and wheel covers, etc. to help the GLC 2023 be quieter and better soundproofed when operating.


The inside of the Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 is not too different from its new generation C-Class brother. The interior of the GLC 2023 creates a highlight with an 11.9-inch vertical central screen integrated with the 2nd generation MBUX operating system and a 12.3-inch electronic driving clock. In addition, the car also comes with equipment such as heated seats, wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, etc. Depending on the version, there will be different interior options.


The Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 also includes an assistance package with features such as: active parking assistance with 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition support and the option of a package another adds a full-time vehicle monitoring feature.


In terms of operation, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L M254 engine with a capacity of 258 horsepower, 399 Nm and comes with a 48-volt mild hybrid system that provides an additional 23 horsepower and 200 Nm. The car is equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic 4-wheel drive system. According to the car manufacturer, the vehicle can only reach an electronically limited speed of 209 km/h.


Currently, the price and opening date of the Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 have not been announced, but it is possible that the European and North American markets will be the first places to distribute this model. After the official global sale, it is possible that GLC 2023 will soon be available in the Vietnamese market within 6 months to 1 year.
