On the last day of November, gasoline prices increased and decreased in opposite directions

From 3:00 p.m. on November 30, 2023, prices of gasoline and oil products will have different price adjustments depending on the type of product.

According to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance, in this adjustment period, each liter of E5 Ron 92 gasoline increased by 100 VND, while Ron 95 had a slight decrease of only 30 VND. Diesel and kerosene products are also regulated differently, specifically:

  • Ron 95 gasoline is reduced by 30 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 22,990 VND/liter
  • E5 Ron 92 gasoline increased by 100 VND/liter, selling price no more than 21,790 VND/liter
  • Diesel oil is reduced by 90 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 20,190 VND/liter
  • Kerosene increased by 170 VND/liter, selling price not higher than 21,110 VND/liter
  • Fuel oil increased by 90 VND/liter, selling price was not higher than 15,720 VND/kg

This is the 5th consecutive time, the inter-ministries continue to not make provisions for the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund and stop spending from this fund on gasoline and oil products. Since the beginning of the year until now, gasoline prices have undergone 33 adjustments, including 17 increases, 12 decreases and 4 times unchanged.

According to the Inter-Ministry, the world petroleum market in the past 7 days has mixed increases and decreases. Fuel in the international market is affected by investors focusing their attention on expectations that OPEC+ will cut new supply and ignore the increase in US crude oil, gasoline and distillate reserves.
