How is the newly launched Hyundai Accent 2023 different from the version currently sold in Vietnam?

The next generation Hyundai Accent will receive significant design changes, bringing a new, sharper and more attractive appearance.

Last week, Hyundai released the first teaser images of the all-new Accent. Also known as Verna in other markets, the B-segment sedan will adopt the Korean brand’s new design language. The 2023 Hyundai Accent will come with a Stargazer-like front end and a more stylish rear end.

Today, Hyundai revealed the first images of the all-new Accent model. No longer hidden in the shadows, the four-door sedan has a more futuristic look thanks to its sleek new design.

Starting with the front, the sedan has a distinct grille that seems to be inspired by the latest generation Elantra. It is combined with an aggressive bumper and full-width hood LED daytime running lights sourced from Stargazer, giving the 2023 Accent a sharp and aggressive appearance.

More styling details from the Elantra can be seen on the sides and rear of the 2023 Accent. It has a coupe-like roofline, sharp creases on the doors and a rear spoiler mounted on the trunk lid. Although we don’t have a full image of the rear of the all-new Accent yet, it’s highly likely that the car will have a pair of unique LED taillights with an H-shaped graphic design that looks quite similar to the Elantra.

Hyundai said the B-class sedan will have two engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine, which can be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or intelligent variable transmission (IVT). The remaining engine is a 4-cylinder in-line, turbocharged, 1.5-liter capacity, which can be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The next generation Hyundai Accent was launched with a series of notable upgrades, promising to continue to be a formidable name in the B-class sedan segment. In the Vietnamese market, Hyundai Accent is the best-selling car model. B-class sedan segment in 2021 with cumulative sales reaching 19,956 cars, 25 more cars than Toyota Vios.
