Honda WR-V 2023 launched in Thailand with 2 versions: SV and RS

Honda WR-V 2023 has just launched an SUV model in the A-class high chassis segment in the Thai market. This is the next member of “Honda’s RV family” after CR-V and HR-V and is distributed in 2 versions: SV and RS.

WR-V 2023 has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,060 x 1,780 x 1,608 (mm) with a wheelbase of 2,485 mm. Compared to the Honda HR-V, this model has a 125 mm shorter wheelbase and is 40mm and 15mm shorter than the Toyota Raize or Kia Sonet.

The design of the front of the car is quite similar to the Honda HR-V, but on closer inspection, the front of the WR-V stands out with LED headlights with a sharp design and navigation lights hidden inside. Meanwhile, the body is painted on the outside in a tone with black painted on the roof and the taillights have a square, inverted L-shaped design.

WR-V 2023 is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, 2-tone paint with 215/55 R17 tires. In addition, the car also has a front independent suspension system and Macpherson with rear torsion beam, brake system with front disc brakes and rear drums.

Regarding the interior, the standard Honda WR-V 2023 has notable equipment such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, fabric/synthetic leather seats, automatic air conditioning, and a 4.2-inch multi-information TFT screen in the cluster. Clock and 8-inch central touch screen support Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.

For the high-end RS version, the WR-V 2023 wheel size is larger, the chrome-plated steering wheel is equipped with front LED fog lights. In particular, the RS version’s cockpit is also equipped with modern technology such as the Honda Connect connection system and a steering wheel with integrated sports gearshift lever.

WR-V 2023 is powered by a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine with 119 horsepower, 145 Nm of torque, comes with a CVT continuously variable transmission and drive system. front bridge.

Honda WR-V 2023 is distributed in 2 versions in this land of golden temples: SV and RS versions with prices of 799,000 baht and 869,000 baht (equivalent to 547-595 million VND). Previously in Indonesia, Honda WR-V had 3 versions including E, RS and RS with Honda Sensing. The selling price for each version is 271.9 million Rp, 289.9 million Rp and 309.9 million Rp respectively (about 430 million, 458 million and 490 million VND).

This car model is expected to arrive in the Vietnamese market. However, there is currently no specific information, we will have to wait a while to receive this model. If this car model returns to Vietnam, it will compete with Toyota Raize and KIA Sonet.
