>> Identify changes in the new generation Yamaha Nouvo

There are many opinions that work Yamaha VVietnam launched Nouvo GP with not many changes, just a normal refresh of a product line. However, there are more positive comments when analyzing, the launch of the Nouvo GP version is a necessary change in form on a technology platform that has been equipped on previous Nouvo SX models.

The launch of Nouvo GP is the necessary change in format

Maintaining the same engine parameters of the Nouvo SX, the GP version uses a CVT engine equipped with electronic fuel injection technology, with a capacity of 125 cm3 liquid-cooled instead of the 135 cm3 engine using carburetor in the previous version. previous version. Thanks to that, the vehicle’s fuel economy is significantly improved. The Nouvo GP 125’s engine produces 10.4 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, maximum torque of 10.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The vehicle uses belt drive.

On Nouvo LX, using spherical headlights (Projector Light)

In the headlight design, Yamaha did not use the usual type of lighting on the Nouvo LX but used a spherical headlight (Projector Light). This is the first scooter line in the Southeast Asian market equipped with projector-style headlights with a capacity of 55W for low beam headlights. The rear lights use convenient, durable, high-illumination LED bulbs. If the rear turn signals of the previous generation Nouvo were designed separately, they are now attached to the hood, along with smokeless lenses. The side of the car is molded into a raised molding with turn signal lights placed at the end of the molding.

The rear lights use LED bulbs with high lighting capacity

The technical data display panel is illuminated by LED lights. The speedometer is designed in an analog style combined with an electronic display board for gasoline capacity, fluid temperature and fuel consumption. This is Yamaha’s first vehicle line in Southeast Asia equipped with an ECO meter displaying fuel consumption. At the front, in addition to the newly designed light cluster, the whole “front” also has many changes with many lines and quite square and angular holes.

The car’s anti-scald plastic tube has a safe design

On the occasion of racer Jorge Lorenzo winning the MotoGP championship in the 2012 season, Yamaha continues to release the Nouvo GP version. This is a necessary refresh, making the car sportier based on the technology and design of the SX line. Having the same technology platform from the standard Nouvo SX, Nouvo GP, with its sporty style, it certainly brings a new value to the scooter that is popular with many young people in Vietnam. Changing the vehicle’s sticker, the Nouvo GP was already “good for wood” and is now “good for its paint” as it hits the psychology of young users who like a scooter that more or less has a racing style, even if it’s just for form.
